About this board game

Victory at Sea: Battle for the Pacific is a two-player tabletop game of World War II naval combat, focused on the Imperial Japanese Navy and US Navy fighting for control of the Pacific Theatre.

Play battles across the oceans of 1939–45, when nations duelled worldwide and rapidly developing technologies changed the nature of naval warfare. The game supports confrontations ranging from single destroyers hunting merchantmen to massive battleships meeting in combat.

The Battle for the Pacific starter set centers on actions in the seas of the Far East. Use naval forces in battles involving island invasions, control of Pacific resources and seas, and waves of dive bombers as you recreate exciting conflicts between two major fleets.

The included Victory at Sea rules manual provides everything needed to begin playing with the fleets in the box. Ship cards and damage sliders support the included vessels, while dice, tokens and sea mats provide the essential tabletop components for your battles.

  • 15 model ships, including US and Japanese cruisers and destroyers
  • 1 USS Indianapolis 1944, 1 USS Northampton 1942 and 1 USS Chicago 1942
