About this board game
Connecting Flights is an airline-management board game for 1–5 players, with games lasting about 150 minutes. Released in 2022, it challenges players to compete for passengers and the resources needed to fly them to their desired destinations.
Players earn money for every passenger they transport, and the player with the most money in the final round wins. Airports, planes, and passenger cards are acquired through auctions, then joined together in line to visually validate each flight.
Longer routes require larger fuel trucks, turning the management of flights into a growing spatial and logistical puzzle. As players gain more passengers, planes, and airports, they must carefully organize flights to different geographical destinations while keeping their networks functional.
- Auction key aviation cards to expand your available airports, planes, and passengers.
- Arrange connected cards so your flights are visibly validated.
- Manage fuel requirements as longer flights demand larger fuel trucks.
- Respond to aviation events and sabotage that can force changes to your flight plans.
Each player also has a unique ability, while trading skills can help secure the resources needed to complete valuable flights. Victory depends on creating a network that can withstand disruption while still transporting passengers efficiently.
Connecting Flights also includes a cooperative mode for 1–2 players. Working together, players must continually adapt their flights as new passengers appear, trying to get everyone to their desired destinations before the game ends.
