About this board game

The Balthazar Stone is a mystery game for 1–6 players with a 90-minute play time, released in 2021. It invites you to join Elsa Winslow on a journey to Sharktooth Island, where an ancient curse can only be broken by solving the mystery.

At the heart of the game is an ancient wooden treasure chest, secured with a metal combination lock. Your task is to work out how to open it, discover what lies inside, and continue the search for Balthazar’s Stone.

Similar to an escape room game, The Balthazar Stone presents its mystery through the locked chest and the puzzles surrounding it. Rather than simply being told the solution, you are left to investigate the clues, unlock the chest, and solve the mystery yourself.
