Tavern Tales: Legends of Dungeon Drop is a 20-minute card game of set collection and subtle bluffing for 2 to 5 players. After surviving the dungeon, heroes return to the Traveler’s Tavern to compete through boasts, disputes, and strategic one-upmanship.

Across a variable number of rounds, players use their hands of hero cards to stake claims at locations in play. A claim can involve the treasures a hero says they found or the number of monsters they claim to have defeated there.

1. Stake your claim: Choose a location and declare the treasures you found or the monsters you slayed.
2. Dispute your companions: Other players may use their hero cards to challenge the claim and try to take the glory.
3. Turn stories into legends: After the bluffing and one-upmanship, a final victor collects the disputed treasure or monster cards.

The winner scores points based on how many identical cards they have already collected. This set-collection system encourages players to stay ahead on one or more types of claims, creating a contest over which heroic stories will earn the greatest reward.

As the rounds continue, players weigh their claims against the possibility of a challenge from their companions. The game ends when one player has achieved enough fame to become the most renowned hero of epic legends.
