SAS: Rogue Regiment – Black Ops Special Edition is a World War II stealth action game for 1–4 players, with sessions lasting around 180 minutes. Set in the pivotal weeks following D-Day, it puts players in the roles of SAS soldiers conducting sabotage missions deep behind enemy lines.

Every mission challenges your four-man team to complete an objective and escape unscathed. Ambush convoys, assassinate high-ranking officers, destroy ammunition dumps and carry out other acts of sabotage against the Axis war machine.

Each SAS operator receives four action points per turn for movement, shooting and other tasks. During the stealth phase, enemy movement is shaped by patrol lines, sentry points and an event card drawn each turn. Players can use rifles, explosives, grenades, vehicles, traps and a fighting knife to deal with threats.

Stealth is central to survival. Firing weapons, leaving bodies exposed, making too much noise or being spotted increases the mission’s stealth meter. When it fills completely, the alarm sounds and the game enters the battle phase. With your heavily outnumbered team unlikely to last long in a firefight, careful positioning and swift, quiet action are essential.

The 2024 Kickstarter Black Ops Special Edition gathers the game and all listed expansions in one large black box. It also includes six red beret pearl-logo D6 dice and a cardboard dice tower styled like a watchtower.
