About this board game
Trust Me is a bluffing game for 2–4 players, played in about 30 minutes, in which you build your reputation and compete for the most valuable Tickets.
On the Island of Toys, only the most famous children have Tickets. To gain them, you must convince the other players that you have shared great adventures with the Island’s Characters—even when a little embellishment is involved.
Over the course of one day and one night, choose one of three actions on your turn:
- Tell a Tale
- Use Reputation to Gain a Ticket
- Take a Character from the Park
When you tell a Tale, the other players decide whether they trust you. Honest players who are not trusted receive both cards and play a second round. Bluffing players who are trusted also receive both cards, along with a precious Ticket—but if your lie is caught, you get nothing.
Cards gained during your turn become part of your reputation. As your reputation grows, you can discard it to redeem more Tickets, but maintaining a convincing story becomes increasingly difficult. The game rewards players who can judge their opponents, manage their reputation, and decide when to tell the truth or risk a bluff.
At the end of Trust Me, the player with the most points is the coolest kid in the group. With its focus on persuasion, deception, and reading the table, this 2025 release turns a colorful day at the Island of Toys into a contest for fame and Tickets.
