About this board game

Along History is a civilization card game for 2–5 players, with games lasting around 90 minutes. Explore humanity’s history through the Prehistoric, Ancient, or Medieval age as you develop a civilization and compete to become the most impressive.

Each turn, players attempt to acquire cards using the same combination of dice. These cards can strengthen the technological, military, or cultural aspects of a civilization, helping players advance on the Achievements board and reach the stage that moves all civilizations into a new era.

Virtually every card is unique, and more than 150 original illustrations help make each game feel distinctive and immersive. Build your civilization through a changing collection of developments, historical figures, and challenges while watching your opponents progress.

• Conquer territories and improve the foundations of your civilization.
• Recruit historical figures to support your development.
• Face calamities that threaten to destroy what you have built.
• Wage war to slow rival civilizations and defend your own.

A game covers one age of your choice, but you can link ages together for a longer experience. With each change of age, your civilization benefits from a legacy acquired during its previous era.

In Along History, progress brings opportunity as well as danger. At the end of the age, the player who possesses the most impressive civilization wins.
