Endangered Rescue #1: Galápagos Penguins is an escape room-style puzzle game for 1–4 players, with a listed play time of 75 minutes. As the host of the conservation TV show WildWorld, you are filming in the Galápagos Islands when your production tent is ransacked.

Your plans to highlight the plight of the endangered Galápagos Penguin are suddenly in jeopardy. To complete your show and help save the penguins, your group must act quickly, investigate what happened, and uncover the intruder’s motivations.

• Solve a series of puzzles using just 18 cards
• Fix equipment and navigate the island as the story unfolds
• Enter answers into a companion web app for instant checks
• Use the app’s graduated hint system when you need help

The puzzles may challenge your perception, wordplay, and lateral-thinking skills. English-language fluency is required. When your group solves a puzzle, enter the answer into the web app using a smartphone or computer; if correct, it reveals which card or cards to take next.

Most groups complete the game in about an hour, though the listed play time is 75 minutes. You may write on the cards while solving, but this is not required, and penny sleeves can be used instead. Although Endangered Rescue #1: Galápagos Penguins cannot be replayed by the same group, the game is otherwise non-destructible, so you can pass it on for someone else to experience.
