About this board game

Queen Bee is a 2020 strategy game for 2–6 players with an approximately 90-minute play time. Build your army, control territory, and protect your Queen Bee while seeking to overthrow rival queens.

The game combines area control, combat, hand management, and dice manipulation. Custom cards let you adjust your dice, affect opponents, or increase your power, giving you tools to shape the battle and respond to changing situations.

In games with three or four players, attacking quickly can be especially valuable. When you defeat another colony’s Queen Bee, its bees become loyal to you, allowing your forces to grow as the conflict continues. However, every attack carries a risk: while expanding your influence, you must still keep your own Queen safe.

Queen Bee rewards players who stay on the move and take the initiative. The game includes more cards focused exclusively on attack, and ties favor the attacking team, encouraging decisive play rather than passive defense. If you want to be the last queen standing, you will need to press the action early.
