Cruel Seas: Starter Set

About this board game

Cruel Seas: Starter Set is a fast-paced 1/300th-scale tabletop game for two players, designed for 60-minute sessions in which you command a flotilla.

This starter set provides the core components needed to begin playing, including plastic vessels, a double-sided A0 battle mat, game dice, and an A4 softback rulebook. An A4 quick start guide adds painting guides and flags, helping you prepare the set for the tabletop.

• Six Vosper Motor Torpedo Boats
• Four E-boats
• Torpedo, plume, and wake markers
• Ship data-cards for Vosper MTBs, E-boats, and a Merchant Ship
• Fleet order chits for the Royal Navy and Kriegsmarine
• Die-cut punchboards with islands, sandbars, rulers, mine markers, tokens, a lighthouse, aircraft, and more
• A set of D10 and D6 game dice

Use the ship data-cards, fleet order chits, and markers to manage your flotilla during play. The battle mat and punchboard components provide a ready-made tabletop environment with islands, sandbars, navigation tools, and additional pieces for the game.

With opposing boat types, torpedo markers, plume markers, and a Merchant Ship included in the data-cards, Cruel Seas: Starter Set offers a compact way for two players to explore this fast-paced tabletop system. Everything listed in the set is designed to give new players a complete starting point, from the rules and quick-start materials to the vessels and gaming accessories.
