About this board game

Fora de Ordem is a guessing game for 2–6 players that plays in about 30 minutes. In each round, players try to determine the order of items within a category by choosing a card from their hand.

When you know—or think you know—the answer, use a card to make your guess. If you are uncertain, you can follow another player’s guess instead. This creates a balance between confident decisions and carefully choosing when to rely on someone else.

Every item carries a risk. For each one, the player who most recently gets the guess wrong receives the bomb if another player makes a mistake after them. However, if someone else makes a mistake after you, you are saved from that bomb.

  • Choose a card from your hand to make an order guess.
  • Follow another player’s guess when you do not know the answer.
  • Manage the danger of being the last player to guess an item incorrectly.
  • Play through six rounds while trying to collect as few bombs as possible.

The tension in Fora de Ordem comes from deciding when to trust your own judgment and when to follow the table. A correct guess can keep you safe, while a poorly timed mistake may leave you holding a bomb.

After six rounds, everyone counts the bombs they have accumulated. The player with the fewest bombs wins, making every guess, follow, and mistake matter throughout the game.
