About this board game

Mascotas is a 2–8-player card game about caring for a pet and proving that you are the best pet owner, with games lasting around 30 minutes.

Choose a pet and work to provide everything it needs. To win, your face-up large pet card must have the specific care cards required in each corner. Your pet must also remain free from the angry and ill states.

Care comes in four forms: Wash, Home, Food, and Fun. The available pets are the Hamster, Dog, Fish, and Tortoise, each with its own care requirements.

• Actions: Naughty Boy, Police, Pet Shop, Mad Scientist, and Tornado

Looking after your animal is only part of the challenge. Other players will try to interfere by making your pet angry, making it ill, or even stealing it, so you must protect your progress while meeting its needs.

Designed for all ages, Mascotas combines pet care with direct competition and disruptive action cards. The box includes pet, care, state, and action cards, along with four large pet cards and rules in both Spanish and English. It was released in 2017.
