About this board game

Sleepers is a two-player World War II strategy game played in about 30 minutes. As the leader of a resistance network in occupied France, you must recruit operatives throughout the country while dealing with rival networks that threaten your plans.

Newly recruited agents are placed face-down and remain inactive as sleeper agents. Later, you can activate them to perform tasks. Tiles held in hand or stored in the bag represent bribes and blackmail material that can be used to recruit agents, giving your network the resources it needs to expand.

Victory can come in several forms. Create a line of active agents connecting any two opposite sides of the board to achieve Success. Alternatively, form a line of five active Scientists to create a doomsday device, achieve Liberation, destroy Germany, and free France. You can also win by eliminating every other player.

Rival networks can lose in multiple ways, so protecting your agents is just as important as expanding. A player is eliminated after ten of their agents are killed, if they are surrounded by active militia, or if they cannot move because they have no tiles and no sleeper agents remaining.
