About this board game

Everything Lost is a thematic solo game for one player, with an approximate play time of 90 minutes, set in a devastated post-apocalyptic town.

You awaken to find your home and community transformed. Roads have vanished, buildings stand like skeletons, rubble fills the streets, and danger moves through the ruins. With no one coming to help, you must search for supplies, face threats, and decide how to survive.

A game is divided into four chapters. In each chapter, choose one mission from two or three available options, then explore the four sectors surrounding your home at the centre of town. Survive all four missions to win, while different choices create a different route through the ruined city.

  • Search buildings and rubble for food, useful items, and weapons.
  • Repair your roof, rescue survivors, and convince them to join your team.
  • Fight zombies and eliminate a gang of outlaws.
  • Steal a bulldozer, break into a warehouse, and undertake other dangerous missions.

Your five white dice represent your energy. Spending more dice can improve your chances, but your supply will run out quickly. Resting restores your dice, yet creates new risks as the mob grows and events force difficult decisions.

As you gain experience, you unlock new skills and actions. You may eventually craft weapons, climb buildings to attack from above, or prepare an ambush. Meanwhile, you draw the city on your map with a pencil as the game progresses, recording the places and path created by your decisions.

With multiple missions to choose from and four available nicknames to earn, Everything Lost challenges you to become a true survivor in a world where nearly everything has disappeared.
