About this board game

Voldétour is a two-player board game with a playing time of about 30 minutes, in which players create 3D paths to bring their Lord to the top of the enemy tower.

On each turn, a player either places or moves two components on the game board. These components are blocks and stairs, which are used to build three-dimensional routes across the board.

The paths you create determine how your Lord can move. A Lord may travel 1, 2, or 3 squares, while the construction of parts or the presence of adversaries can block the opponent’s movement. Every turn combines path creation with the need to overcome obstacles that interfere with progress.

  • Players: 2
  • Playing time: 30 minutes
  • Key components: blocks and stairs
  • Core objective: reach the top of the enemy tower first

Voldétour is a direct race between two Lords, with the board changing as components are placed or moved. Building a useful route can open a way forward, while blocked movement can slow the opposing Lord’s advance.

The winner is the player whose Lord first reaches the top of the enemy tower. Released in 2012, the game focuses on spatial construction, movement, and a clear head-to-head objective.
