Boss Monster Big Box is a dungeon-themed game for 2–6 players that plays in about 60 minutes, casting everyone as the boss of a side-scroller video game-style dungeon.

Inspired by the pixelated perils of an 8-bit dungeon, the game invites players to create their own villainous lairs and lure hapless heroines inside with the right treasures. The goal is not simply to attract invaders, however: a dungeon must be as deadly as it is alluring.

Heroes who survive the dungeon long enough can reach the boss room and wound the boss monster. Carefully balancing attraction and danger is essential, because the player who best devours the souls of invading heroines becomes the winning beast.

The 2022 Boss Monster Big Box is an all-in-one package for fans of pixel dungeons and black humor. Alongside the base game, it includes four expansions:

Six dungeon tableaus are also included, helping set the scene for the map dungeons.
