Master Dater is a messed-up dating game for 3–6 players, with a playing time of approximately 45 minutes. In this 2022 game from Cyanide and Happiness, players take turns being the sexy single while the others compete to create the most appealing—or most fittingly messed-up—dates.

When a player takes the role of the single, the other players combine heads and bodies to make unusual date candidates. Each creation is designed to pander to three unusual interests belonging to the single. The resulting dates then compete for attention, with their creators ready to argue why their combination deserves to win.

The single awards the player or players who make the best argument with heart, love, and flame cards. Because the single chooses the winning case, every round centers on presenting a date and making its appeal clear.

To win, a player must collect one of each card type and have five cards in total. Once a player reaches that condition, they become the Master Dater and win the game. The combination of head-and-body creations, unusual interests, and direct arguments gives each turn a clear dating-game focus.
