Citadels Duel is a head-to-head city-planning game for 2 players, designed for a play time of about 30 minutes. Two rival planners compete to shape the future of the Citadel by creating a district plan that generates the greatest wealth and earns lasting renown.

Construct powerful buildings across a range of districts, developing your city while watching your opponent’s plans closely. From bustling Commercial hubs to formidable Military strongholds, each district contributes to the contest between the two ambitious planners.

Influential figures can join your efforts and help shape the struggle for control. Recruit characters such as the cunning Queen, the deadly Assassin, and the ruthless Warlord as you work to strengthen your position.

• Anticipate your opponent’s choices, since every ally you recruit may also be claimed by them.

Every decision carries weight in Citadels Duel. An influential ally can give you an advantage, but your opponent may be able to claim that same figure, making timing and anticipation essential as the city takes shape.

When the final building rises, the planning contest ends. The player with the most gold wins, proving that their vision for the Citadel created the more prosperous city.
