The Restless is a cooperative dungeon-crawler card game for 1–4 players, with an approximately 300-minute play time, set during the final days of humanity.

Thirty years after a pantheon of gods betrayed humanity and condemned it to extinction, the world has become an endless cemetery. As nations destroyed themselves and the barrier between the mortal realm and other dimensions began to split open, cruel angels, grotesque demons, and unknowable creatures spilled into the world.

Now, an inky storm is sweeping across the land from the far west. Every living creature must flee or die. Gather your party, collect meager equipment, and race east across a ruined world while facing an increasingly hostile journey.

• Work together as a team of weak, resource-starved characters.
• Survive five realms filled with multiple fight encounters.
• Face shapeshifting monsters, bizarre traps, and treacherous environments.
• Reach the Rapturous East for a final confrontation with the Traitor God.

The game’s challenge comes from trying to keep a vulnerable party alive while the world closes in around it. Each realm stands between the survivors and the far end of the world, where they will confront the deity responsible for humanity’s extinction.

After the final encounter in the Fifth Realm, surviving party members arrive at the Rapturous East. They may attempt to defeat the Traitor God—or refuse to fight and lose. If the god falls, the game ends, bringing the desperate journey of The Restless to its final conclusion.
