About this board game
Alleswisser is a trivia board game for 2–4 players, with an approximate play time of 90 minutes. Players compete to collect knowledge cups in nine categories or become the first to circle the board three times.
The game uses an app on a tablet or smartphone to deliver questions and tasks that adapt to each player’s age and level of knowledge. This makes Alleswisser suitable for games that bring adults and children together, while keeping the challenge tailored to the individual player.
The board features a circular track with spaces in nine different colors. Each color represents a question category. On a turn, a player rolls two dice, chooses one die, and moves around the track. Landing on a color leads to a multiple-choice question or, at times, a mini game delivered through the app.
- Adaptive questions: The app adjusts content to the player’s age and knowledge level.
- Nine categories: Correct answers can lead to collecting a matching knowledge cup.
- Two victory paths: Win by assembling all nine cups or by completing three circuits of the board.
- Head-to-head challenges: Occupied category spaces can trigger a contest for an opponent’s cup.
Answering correctly twice in a row earns the knowledge cup for that color, provided the player does not already own it. If the cup is already in the player’s collection, a correct answer allows another roll and continued movement.
When a player lands on a space occupied by an opponent who owns that space’s color, the two players face head-to-head questions. A successful challenge can transfer the knowledge cup, adding direct competition to the trivia race.
With its combination of app-based questions, category collection, and a circular board race, Alleswisser offers a flexible trivia contest for mixed-age groups.
