About this board game
Undo: Peak of No Return is a 2020 board game for 2–6 players with an approximately 90-minute play time. As incorporeal Weavers of Fate, players travel through the past to try to prevent a tragic event from happening.
The story begins in Goa, India, on May 22, 1972. A news article reports that all seven members of an international mountaineering group are believed to have died during a summit ascent in the Himalayas. The expedition included citizens from England and the USA, but the full circumstances of the disaster have yet to be changed—or accepted as fate.
Rather than reconstructing a crime or identifying a murderer, players explore the moments surrounding the tragedy. Every jump through time presents a momentous decision, and those choices ultimately determine whether the catastrophe will come to pass.
- Players: 2–6
- Play time: 90 minutes
- Setting: Goa and the Himalayas in 1972
- Objective: Change fate and save the missing expedition members
The narrative opens with a person reading the previous day’s news on a train, wondering whether this is finally the end of days of flight. At Palolem Beach, a colorfully dressed figure named Jamie offers a welcome, while the traveler replies, “I’m Alex.” These details introduce the unusual journey at the heart of Undo: Peak of No Return.
With each decision carrying consequences for the past, the game asks whether the players can alter the course of history. Can the Weavers of Fate reach the right moments and prevent the Himalayan expedition’s disaster?
