The Phoenix Syndicate is a game for 2–4 players that takes about 90 minutes, challenging you to build a network of agents across planets in a galaxy shaped anew every game.

Legend says the original syndicate rose to power through daring exploits and relentless greed, creating a galactic regime before losing its fire to the affairs of the masses. Now, a new syndicate must rise from the ashes, expand its influence, and make a tidy profit along the way.

At the start of each game, the galactic hexes are randomly arranged to create a new galaxy. Over the course of play, you claim trade routes, each identifying systems you may want to bring into your network. The more effectively you fulfill a route, the more lucrative the deal becomes and the more Galactic Credits you can gain.

• Build an agent network across planets and connected systems.
• Acquire the resources needed to connect new planets from places where you already have agents.
• Upgrade your core actions with technologies and access special bonus actions through trade guild infiltration.

Each turn, you perform one core action, placing its action marker among those that have been used. Those actions remain unavailable until you take a Deploy turn, which lets you reclaim all your spent markers. Technologies can upgrade the actions themselves, making it important to recognize which options deserve greater emphasis.

Careful action upgrades, resource acquisition, trade-route planning, and guild infiltration can help you outmaneuver your opponents. Released in 2019, The Phoenix Syndicate combines a changing galactic layout with network building, technology development, and the pursuit of an enviable pile of Galactic Credits.
