About this board game
Almighty is a 1–4 player strategy game with a play time of about 90 minutes, in which ancient gods compete for belief, glory, and the throne of the Almighty.
Choose the god of the Sun, the Dead, Love, or Storms. Each deity has a unique deck of Act cards and an asymmetric, highly thematic puzzle to solve, giving every game its own character.
On your turn, play Act cards to one of four lands and shape the Mortals living there. You can create or move Mortals, trigger their effects, or bless and curse them to change their value. These actions generate Belief, setting the stage for the festivals to come.
- Manipulate a shared pool of Mortals rather than controlling a private collection.
- Position Mortals to benefit your plans while disrupting your opponents’ advantages.
- Use blessings, curses, movement, and divine power to influence each land.
- Adapt to a changing Mortal deck, with only a portion appearing in each game.
At the end of every round, the Mortals hold a Festival in each land. The god with the most Belief there earns Glory, but only Worthy Mortals provide positive rewards. Unworthy Mortals subtract Glory, so you may need to move or smite them away, bless them into worthiness, or reduce the value of lands where another god leads.
Every turn contributes to a changing story: mortals may enjoy prosperous lives or suffer beneath a deity’s decisions. After three rounds, the god with the most Glory is crowned ALMIGHTY. With distinct Act decks, shifting mortal arrangements, and varied card combinations, Almighty offers a different divine puzzle from the start of every game.
