About this board game
Czas Honoru: Operacja Most III is a two-player tactical card wargame that plays in about 30 minutes. Set in German-occupied Poland in 1944, it recreates a struggle over the secrets of the V-2, a ballistic missile being tested at a hidden German facility.
One player commands the Polish forces, seeking to collect fragments from test-fired rockets. The other commands the Germans, trying to protect or conceal the secrets of the testing area. The game lasts four turns, and each turn begins with a missile test that scatters new rocket fragments around the facility.
Players alternate placing units and performing actions. Polish scouts search for fragments, while soldiers and partisans provide protection against enemy contact and combat. Elite forces add further possibilities: Polish Unseen and Silent commandos and German SS Stormtroopers can penetrate enemy lines.
- Fast tactical play: alternate unit placement and actions create constant pressure.
- Distinct objectives: the Polish commander gathers fragments while the German commander defends the testing area.
- Reactive cards: players can influence the game during an opponent’s move with immediate effects and unique events.
- Flexible dice results: six-sided dice determine combat and exploration, with opportunities to modify the outcomes.
Players also build networks of command and support units to carry out their plans more effectively. German logistical advantages, Polish concealment, and the possibility of evacuating rocket fragments to England give both sides meaningful ways to disrupt the opponent.
At the end of Czas Honoru: Operacja Most III, the player with more rocket parts wins. The Polish player succeeds by stealing the V-2 secrets, while the German player wins by concealing them.
