About this board game

Baby Clues is a deduction game for 2–4 players that takes about 30 minutes to play. In a mansion full of suspicious, incognito babies, the prized bottle of milk collection has disappeared—and everyone is trying to sneak it away.

Each player receives a secret identity and an object their baby hates. A vampire baby dislikes garlic, a robot baby cannot stand water, and a dirty baby hates soap. On your turn, you pick up objects, but you can never take the one connected to your secret aversion.

Every card you collect reveals useful information about your identity. This creates a constant deduction challenge: opponents can study your choices to work out who you are, while you observe their collections and try to expose them. At the same time, you must gather what you need to escape with the milk.

  • Deduce opponents’ secret identities from the objects they collect.
  • Choose items carefully while avoiding the object your baby hates.
  • Retrieve five bottles of milk to win the game.
  • Use bluffing when an opponent tries to unmask you.

Exposing an opponent can score points, and collecting the objects needed for your escape offers another route to scoring. But accusation carries risk: if someone tries to reveal your identity and gets it wrong, you earn a bonus point.

With its blend of observation, hidden information, and calculated deception, Baby Clues asks you to balance two goals at once. Reveal just enough of yourself to plan your escape, while keeping your true identity concealed long enough to claim the milk.
