About this board game

Evergreen is a strategy board game for 1–4 players, with games lasting about 45 minutes, in which you build a lush ecosystem on your own planet.

Each round, you choose biome cards from a common pool to determine which area of your planet you will develop. The cards left unchosen make those regions more fertile and therefore more valuable, creating an important balance between the areas you actively develop and those you allow to flourish through opportunity.

To create a huge forest, you will plant seeds, grow trees, place bushes, and add lakes across your planet. You can also use the power of nature to gain extra actions, helping your ecosystem expand and develop throughout the game.

The most fertile areas are especially valuable, so concentrating your trees there can help your planet thrive. However, trees must not overshadow one another: each one also needs to collect as much light as possible. This makes the arrangement of your growing forest just as important as its size.
