Vagrantsong

About this board game

Vagrantsong is a cooperative, story-driven boss battler for 2–4 players, with sessions lasting about 120 minutes. Set aboard the supernatural ghost train known as the Silver Ferryman, it challenges players to survive a campaign of eerie encounters and uncover the train’s secrets.

Each player takes the role of a Vagrant trapped aboard the train. Across more than 20 Scenarios, players face ghosts called Haints, each with their own tricks and gameplay mechanics. These supernatural opponents will do everything they can to strip away the players’ Humanity and keep them aboard forever.

On a turn, players spend their three Coins to take actions around the train board. They can move, investigate the unknown, or rummage for items that could help them out of a difficult situation. Coins can also be spent on more exclusive actions designed to remind a Haint of its lost Humanity, with the ultimate goal of freeing the spirit and winning the Scenario.
