Folklore: The Affliction is a cooperative horror RPG board game for 1–5 players, with adventures that take around 120 minutes to play. In this expandable, ongoing epic, you must find and destroy the source of an evil spreading across the land.

Travel through a devastated realm and enter dark locations where the adventure becomes a miniature-based dungeon crawl. Face supernatural Afflictions, uncover deeper storylines, and gather Lore as you push the darkness back toward the hell from which it came.

Each player takes one of six unique, customizable characters. Develop your abilities and shape your character through intense customization as you confront dangerous challenges. Your successes and failures can affect the entire group, raising the stakes and fueling interaction throughout the adventure.

Death does not necessarily remove a character from the action. Fallen heroes continue as ghosts, using ethereal powers to strike enemies from beyond the grave. Some customizable abilities can even strengthen a character in the afterlife.

Along the way, survivors may confront the scourges of vampirism and lycanthropy, with the threat of falling to bloodlust or becoming tainted themselves. Whether you stand as a survivor or continue as a ghost, Folklore: The Affliction delivers a dark cooperative journey shaped by exploration, combat, consequence, and supernatural horror.
