Rebel Princess is a trick-taking game for 3–6 players that takes about 40 minutes to play. Set during a five-day fairy-tale party, it challenges princesses to avoid marriage proposals and remain single and independent.

Each player takes the role of a different fairy-tale princess, and every princess has a special ability that can be used once per round. Across five rounds, players compete in tricks by playing numbered cards from one of the game’s four suits.

In each trick, players follow the suit that started it whenever possible. The player who plays the highest-numbered card in that suit takes all the cards, but winning a trick can be an unwelcome success. Prince charmings appear among the cards, and each one brings a marriage proposal to the player who collects it.

• Play through five rounds representing five days of celebration.
• Face a special rule in every round, making each game different.
• Use each princess’s ability once per round.
• Avoid prince charmings—and especially the enchanted frog, worth five proposals.

The goal is not to collect the most tricks, but to finish with the fewest marriage proposals after all five rounds. The changing rules and character abilities give each game a distinct rhythm, while the trick-taking format makes every card played a potential advantage or liability.
