About this board game

Mysthea is a hand-building, management, and area-control eurogame for 2–5 players, with play taking around 120 minutes. Released in 2019 by Tabula Games, it brings time-tested eurogame mechanics into the strange world of Icaion.

Players compete for control of unexplored floating islands, frontiers filled with anomalies and strange monsters. These islands are more than places to occupy: as your powers grow, you can make entire islands move, changing the shape of the areas you are trying to control.

Managing your available powers is central to the experience. Hand building gives you tools to develop your capabilities, while management and area control connect those choices to the shifting landscape of Icaion.
