About this board game

Medium is a word-connection party game for 2–8 players, with play sessions lasting about 45 minutes. Players take on the roles of psychic mediums and use their extra-sensory abilities to access one another’s thoughts.

In each pairing, players work with two cards and the thoughts represented by their words. The challenge is to mentally determine the Medium: the single word that connects the words on both cards.

Once the connecting word has been chosen, the pair attempts to say it at the same time. Success depends on finding the idea that both players can reach from their separate thoughts, then sharing that answer in perfect unison.
