About this board game

Stop Thief! is a family game of logical deduction for 1–5 players, with a playing time of about 60 minutes. An invisible suspect has committed a crime, and only the sounds they make reveal where they are hiding.

Listen carefully to each clue, then use deduction to narrow down the suspect’s location. Other investigators are searching too, so you must move efficiently and reach the suspect before a rival can make the arrest and claim the reward.

Instead of relying on roll-and-move gameplay, Stop Thief! uses decks of movement cards. Play cards to move around the board, sneak through a window, or receive a private tip. The use of decks also supports asymmetrical movement options, adding strategy and replayability to each investigation.
