About this board game

Bristol 1350 is a 1–9 player board game with a playing time of about 40 minutes, combining racing strategy, social deduction, and uneasy teamwork.

The Black Death has reached Bristol, and everyone is desperate to escape town. Players race through the streets in one of three apple carts, hoping to be among the first to reach the countryside. But speed alone is not enough: if your cart leaves town with a plagued villager aboard, you will catch the plague.

Some villagers are already infected, yet they hide their early symptoms while they enjoy their final days in peace. Watch the other villagers, consider the evidence, and do whatever is necessary to keep plague carriers out of your cart. Although the game appears to reward cooperation between cart-mates, Bristol 1350 is ultimately a selfish scramble to escape quickly and safely.

Victory goes to the cart that leaves town first while carrying only healthy villagers. The mix of hidden information, suspicion, and movement creates a tense race in which every decision can affect both your own escape and the fate of your fellow passengers.
