About this board game

Welcome to the Moon is a flip-and-write board game for 1–6 players, with games lasting around 30 minutes. Humanity needs a new home, and your mission is to help save it through space colonization.

Each turn, cards are flipped from three stacks to create three different combinations of a starship number and a matching action. Every player chooses one combination, then uses its number to fill a space in a zone on their adventure sheet in numerical order.

The game builds on the mechanisms of the earlier Welcome To… title while expanding them into a campaign across eight adventure sheets. These sheets feature very different mechanisms from the classic concept, giving each adventure its own distinct focus.

Campaign play adds a changing story of decisions. The choices you make during one adventure affect which adventure comes next, so each campaign can differ from the previous one.

Whether played as a single adventure or as a connected campaign, Welcome to the Moon combines accessible flip-and-write play with varied sheets, shared objectives, and a race to establish humanity’s future beyond Earth.
