The King’s Guild

About this board game

The King’s Guild is a strategy board game for 1–6 players with a playing time of 120 minutes. Each player leads a guild competing to become the most renowned guild in the kingdom of Greycastle.

Centuries ago, Greycastle was founded through a pact between the realm’s great guild leaders. Under that pact, only a guild can rule the kingdom, and only a guild leader may claim the throne. With the king on his deathbed, the Council of the Wise will soon convene to decide who is worthy.

On each turn, choose one action to develop your guild and increase its prestige:

• Gather resources to supply your warehouse.
• Craft powerful equipment for your heroes.
• Upgrade your guild by hiring unique specialists and building new rooms.

Send equipped heroes on quests to earn treasure and build your reputation. You can also gain prestige from your quests, specialists, rooms, and the treasures you collect.

As the game progresses, every decision helps shape the strength and reputation of your guild. When the king passes on and the council arrives, the leader with the most prestige will ascend to the throne and earn the title of the King’s Guild.

With resource gathering, equipment crafting, quests, specialists, rooms, and treasure all contributing to your rise, The King’s Guild challenges you to turn a promising guild into Greycastle’s most prestigious power.
