About this expansion

Dominion: Adventures is an expansion for 2–4 players, with games lasting about 30 minutes. Released in 2015, it is the ninth addition to the Dominion series.

This expansion contains 400 cards, 60 tokens, and six mats. Among its 30 new Kingdom cards are the return of Duration cards, which do things on future turns, and Reserve cards, which can be saved for the right moment.

Adventures also introduces 20 Event cards. These give you something to buy besides cards, including tokens that modify cards and add another way to shape your choices.

The setting invites you to seek your fortune in a world of milk and honey, eggs and licorice, treacherous swamps, and loyal jungles. Those lands have already been thoroughly pillaged, but legends speak of a fifth direction that remains unspoiled, with its treasures conveniently gathered into troves.

With a sword, trail mix, recruits, hirelings, and a trusty steed, you are ready to go adventuring. Dominion: Adventures adds new possibilities to the series through cards that look ahead, cards that wait for the right opportunity, and Events that expand what can be purchased.
