About this board game
Zombie Dice is a push-your-luck dice game for 2-99 players that takes about 10 to 20 minutes to play. You are a zombie competing to collect more brains than your zombie opponents.
The game uses 13 custom dice as your victims. On your turn, take three dice from the box and roll them. Each die shows one of three outcomes: brains, footsteps, or shotgun blasts.
- Brains are worth one point at the end of the round.
- Footsteps let you reroll that particular die.
- Shotgun blasts bring danger to your turn.
After rolling three dice, decide whether to stop and score your current collection of brains or keep pushing your luck. If you continue, grab new dice until you have three again, then roll once more.
The risk is simple: collect three shotgun blasts during your turn and the turn ends, leaving you with no points for the brains collected during it. Every decision asks whether your current score is worth protecting or whether another roll could bring you closer to victory.
The first zombie to collect 13 brains wins. With rules that can be taught in a single round and turns built around a clear stop-or-continue choice, Zombie Dice creates a compact contest of chance, timing, and nerve.
