About this expansion

Dominion: Menagerie is an animal-themed expansion for 2–4 players, with games taking about 30 minutes. Released in 2020, it adds new ways to pursue Dominion alongside the animals in your growing menagerie.

This 13th Dominion expansion contains 400 cards, including thirty new Kingdom cards. The animals each have a lesson to teach, from spitting really far to discovering which grass tastes best, while your developing menagerie may include goats, rats, camels, turtles, dogs, and more.

Menagerie introduces several distinctive features that expand the choices available during play:

• Horses can save a draw for later.
• Exile mats let cards be sent away and later rescued.
• Ways give Actions another option.
• Events return to Dominion.

The expansion also adds a riding theme to your animal kingdom. You may begin with dogs as you work your way toward horses, while the wider menagerie grows from a humble start involving a goat, two rats, and the advisor who recommended the project.

Dominion: Menagerie requires the basic Dominion cards and rulebook in order to play. It can be combined with any other expansion in the Dominion series, giving you the flexibility to add its animal-themed cards and mechanics to your existing game.
