Aquatica: Cold Waters is a 2020 expansion for 1–5 players, designed for games lasting about 60 minutes. It brings the Polar Invasion to the underwater world of Aquatica, where sudden climate changes and erupting underwater volcanoes have transformed the kingdom.

For centuries, Aquatica prospered under the wise Sea-Kings, but the arrival of the Cold Waters from the North Ocean has changed everything. The Royal City lies in ashes, unfamiliar northern creatures have appeared, and several Northern nations are ready to fight for Aquatica’s resources.

The expansion adds new content and offers a fresh way to experience the conflict for the Crown. Instead of using the base game’s goal track, players can use an alternative goal mechanic that changes how objectives are handled during the game.
