Dominion: Governor Promo Card is a Dominion promo card for 2–4 players, with a play time of approximately 30 minutes. Released in 2011, it was created to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Puerto Rico.

Governor is an Action card with a cost of 5. When played, it provides +1 Action and lets you choose one of three effects. Each option has a version shown in parentheses, giving the card a distinctive set of alternatives.

• Each player gets +1 Card, or +3 Cards.
• Each player gains a Silver, or a Gold.
• Each player may trash a card from their hand and gain a card costing exactly 1 more, or exactly 2 more.

These choices make Governor a flexible addition to a Dominion card pool. Depending on the selected version, it can provide cards to every player, give everyone Silver or Gold, or let each player exchange a card from hand for a more expensive card.

The card’s effects are presented as paired alternatives, with the standard effect followed by its parenthetical version. This makes Governor easy to identify while preserving its central choice-based design.
