7 Wonders: Leaders – Stevie

About this expansion

7 Wonders: Leaders – Stevie is an additional leader for 2–7 players, with a play time of 40 minutes and a 2011 release year. This promotional leader is only playable with the 7 Wonders: Leaders expansion.

With Stevie’s help, you can build a stage of your Wonder of the World without paying its required resources. Instead, pay 1 coin for each resource that the stage would cost, then slide Stevie under the appropriate stage with his face up.

This gives Stevie a clearly defined role in Wonder construction: the stage’s resource requirement determines the number of coins you must pay. The ability applies when building a Wonder stage and uses Stevie as part of that construction.

• Costs 1 coin per resource the stage would require

Stevie does not interact with Imhotep, another leader that reduces the cost of Wonder stages by 1 resource each. The two leaders’ effects are therefore kept separate when using them in the same game.

First featured in Spielbox Magazine 2011 Issue #3, Stevie was later available in a pack of promotional items for backers of the Game Boy Geek 2017 Kickstarter campaign. 7 Wonders: Leaders – Stevie adds a focused alternative for paying for Wonder stages to the Leaders expansion.
