About this expansion

Quadropolis: Public Services is an expansion for Quadropolis that supports 2–4 players and plays in about 60 minutes. As Mayor, you add new public service buildings to your city while competing to choose the most useful options at the right moment.

Each round, a selection of public service tiles is revealed and placed face up next to the board. Players can then build these tiles in their cities, but the competition is fierce, making timing and availability important parts of the challenge.

The expansion introduces buildings with new in-game bonuses and scoring options. Choose a maternity ward to increase your population, build a police station to protect your citizens, or invest in a reprocessing plant to decrease pollution.

  • Add new public service buildings to the Quadropolis base game.
  • Reveal a selection of tiles each round and compete to build them.
  • Use new bonuses and scoring options to develop your city.

Every choice presents a fresh question for the Mayor: which public service is worth pursuing, and when should it be built? Other players may want the same tile, so securing the right building is not always easy.

With its face-up tile selection and additional city-building possibilities, Quadropolis: Public Services offers a focused expansion that challenges players to adapt their plans as new public services become available. Released in 2017, it adds another layer of competition to the modern-city setting of Quadropolis.
