Paleo: The Initiation Rite

Paleo: The Initiation Rite is a cooperative module for 1–4 players, with games lasting about 60 minutes. It presents a shared challenge in which four young tribe members must each pass a test before becoming full members of the tribe.

Known as Module L, this scenario focuses on the initiation rite faced by the four aspirants. Their character cards are distributed among the players, and the group works together to help them pass their exams.

The Initiation Rite can only be played together with Paleo. It is particularly suitable for players who are getting to know the game, offering a focused way to experience its cooperative challenges through the trials of the four young members.

When combined with Module A or Module B, Module L provides an alternative to level I. Its challenges are not limited to new players, however: The Initiation Rite also offers enough difficulty and interest for advanced players looking for another way to play Paleo.

Released in 2021, this module adds a distinct cooperative objective to the Paleo experience. Bring the aspirants together, face their exams as a group, and see whether all four can complete the rite.
