Thunderstone Advance: Into the Abyss is an expansion for 1–5 players, offering an approximately 60-minute continuation of the survival story in a forsaken realm.

This set brings together 381 cards from the first six Thunderstone releases, creating a broad collection of returning content alongside new additions. It is designed to extend a Thunderstone Advance base set, such as Worlds Collide, and cannot be played without one.

Into the Abyss introduces new cards across several categories, giving players fresh heroes, spells, items, villagers, and monsters to encounter. The set also expands the ways experience tokens can be used, adding an alternate role for a familiar part of the game.
