The Resistance: Avalon Promo Cards is a 2012 card expansion for 5–10 players, with a listed play time of 30 minutes. These ten cards expand The Resistance: Avalon and were created for backers of the original Kickstarter project.

The set includes the Excalibur card, which introduces an additional mechanic to every Quest. The leader selects a player to receive a strong ability, creating an important decision about whom to entrust with its power.

Excalibur’s strength comes with a clear warning: it must be used wisely. Choosing the right player is central to making the most of this additional Quest mechanic, so each selection carries significance.

The expansion also adds Lancelot content through two additional character cards and seven supporting cards. These cards can be played in three different ways, giving the set multiple approaches to incorporating its new material.
