About this expansion

Quartermaster General: Air Marshal is a 2–6 player game for about 90 minutes that adds new mechanics to Quartermaster General.

Bolster cards introduce a fresh layer of timing and uncertainty. These cards are played directly from your hand at the time specified on each card, creating opportunities for surprise and adding a new challenge to the game.

The game also brings Air Forces to the battlefield. Air Force pieces enter play through a Deploy Air Force card, giving the conflict an additional dimension as forces are placed on the board.

  • Bolster cards: Play them from your hand at the time indicated on the card.
  • Air Force pieces: Deploy them to the board with a Deploy Air Force card.
  • Battlefield support: Air Forces may support Army or Navy units in the same space.
  • Adjacent pressure: Air Forces also apply additional pressure to adjacent enemy pieces.

Once deployed, Air Forces affect both the space they occupy and the surrounding battlefield. Their ability to support Army or Navy units in the same space, while pressuring adjacent enemy pieces, adds another consideration to battles.

With its hand-played Bolster cards and deployable Air Forces, Quartermaster General: Air Marshal expands the ways pressure can be applied during the game. Released in 2015, it is designed for games with 2 to 6 players and an approximately 90-minute play time.
