Mombasa: Cooked Books Mini Expansion

About this expansion

Mombasa: Cooked Books Mini Expansion is a 2016 expansion for 2–4 players, with a listed play time of 150 minutes. It adds six book tiles and one bookkeeper tile to the base game.

At setup, add the six new book tiles to the book tiles from the base game. Place the bookkeeper tile next to the game board; this bonus space is additional and remains available for the entire game.

During play, pay the amount shown on a bonus tile to acquire it. At the end of the game, check which of the new book tiles your ink jar has reached or passed. The bonus values on those tiles are added to your bookkeeping scoring category.

• Components: 6 book tiles and 1 bookkeeper tile
• Book tile scoring: Add the bonus values of qualifying new book tiles to bookkeeping
• Bookkeeper majority bonus: Use the additional space if no other player has a higher total of bookkeepers

The bookkeepers are not used up when taking the majority bonus space. The reward depends on your total: one bookkeeper pays 2 pounds from the bank, two bookkeepers pay 5 pounds, and three or more bookkeepers pay 9 pounds.
