About this expansion

Shadows of Brimstone: Other Worlds – Trederra is a deluxe OtherWorld expansion for 1–4 players, with adventures designed for approximately 120 minutes of play. It sends Heroes into a war-torn, industrial-age alien world where rival Nations wage generations of conflict amid ruined cities and polluted battlefields.

Trederra is a hostile environment shaped by the use of Dark Stone, whose power fuels engines of war while spreading radiation and toxic gas across the planet. As Heroes explore, they may face land mines, poisonous Toxic Clouds, Acid Rain, and relentless enemy patrols. The devastation is dangerous, but it also conceals advanced weapons, protective gear, and other valuable treasures.

The expansion includes 18 new Map Tiles depicting Trederra, with Radioactive Spaces and Cover Terrain. Their reverse sides add unique Mine rooms, bringing additional variety and Encounters to adventures in the Mines. Six Missions challenge Heroes as they navigate the ruins and attempt to survive this alien war zone.

  • 6 Trederran Legionnaires armed with Dark Stone weaponry
  • 3 heavily armored Z-4 Grenadiers with thermal charges
  • 6 Trederran Mutants corrupted by radiation
  • 3 Trederran Lieutenants who command their legions
  • 6 plastic Cover Terrain pieces: 3 Barrels and 3 Tank Traps

Trederra also provides its own Encounters, Artifacts, Map Cards, OtherWorld Threat cards, and World Card with unique Global Rules. These additions make exploration distinct while adding new dangers, discoveries, and tactical challenges to the Mines.

Released in 2016, Trederra expands Shadows of Brimstone with a brutal science-fiction battlefield where survival depends on confronting alien soldiers and enduring a landscape poisoned by war.
