Dominion: Church Promo Card

About this expansion

Dominion: Church Promo Card is a 2019 Dominion series card for 2–4 players, with games lasting about 30 minutes. Designed as a special promotional card, it adds a focused Action-Duration option to a Dominion game.

Church costs 3 coins and provides +1 Action when played. Its central ability lets you set aside up to three cards from your hand face down, creating a temporary pause before those cards return to play.

At the start of your next turn, put the set-aside cards into your hand. You may then trash a card from your hand, giving the card a distinctive sequence: prepare your hand now, recover those cards later, and decide whether to remove one afterward.

• Type: Action-Duration
• Cost: 3 coins
• Immediate benefit: +1 Action
• Delayed effect: Return up to three set-aside cards at the start of your next turn
• Optional choice: Trash a card from your hand after returning them

This card was designed to commemorate the victors of the Jubiläumsmeisterschaft (Anniversary Championship), organized in Germany and Austria in 2018. The event celebrated ten years of Dominion, giving Church a clear connection to the game’s anniversary and competitive history.

As a compact addition to the Dominion series, Church combines delayed card recovery with an optional trashing decision in a single Action-Duration card. Dominion: Church Promo Card was released in 2019.
