Feudum: Squirrels & Conifers

About this expansion

Feudum: Squirrels & Conifers is a 2018 mini-expansion for 2–6 players, designed for games lasting about 180 minutes. It adds 50 tasty squirrels and 6 wooden conifer trees to bring the board’s topography to life.

This expansion replaces Feudum’s green food cubes with pink squirrel cubes, creating a multiplying food source on the map. The pink cubes are also more accessible for color blind players and may be used apart from the expansion rules.

During setup and replenishment, brown wood cubes gain a visual companion. Whenever a brown wood cube is placed on the map, place a conifer tree next to it if one is available.

• Remove the green food cubes and use the pink squirrel cubes instead.
• Place a conifer tree beside each newly placed brown wood cube, when a tree is available.
• Place a pink cube beside any tree just placed.
• During replenishment, place a pink cube beside any tree without a squirrel.

The result is a compact addition that gives the map new visual character while introducing a clear relationship between wood cubes, conifers, and squirrel cubes. With its bright pink food pieces and wooden trees, Feudum: Squirrels & Conifers offers an accessible way to refresh the game’s components and add its multiplying food-source rules.
